A prayer for the weary

I wonder who else is in this.
 Pray along
There were days when
Love was tangible
Help was near
Grace right here
Tears that defined my joy ran down
I felt secure
I felt sure
Something was burning inside
All this while I remember
I didn’t have to worry or fret
Coz my cares
Doubts and dismay
All melted away
What once beamed with life
Is now cold and deserted
Like a heart devoid of the very life itself
Like a vase with no flower
It feels so alone
Won’t you come through blessed Lord?
Temptations loose their power when you are here
With you it’s easy when dismay stares hard
In you there’s a friend I’ve always had
How I need the winds of revival
Showers of rain to soak my drying heart
Lord I’ve heard of your deeds
The victories you wrought upon hearts of men
Renew them in my days
Restore my heart again
