Love Song

There's a silent cry in every heart, a hole that doesn't seem to fill up. None can refute the fact that we are all in need of a savior-a hand that stretches further than ours. Who else can bind a wounded heart and give life to our mortal bodies? I only know of one. That's why I write to tell of him. This is a tale of how things turned around for a once lost soul to now be found. James 1:17, Luke 15:32, Ephesians 1:3

Tune my heart to love and I will sing
I am redeemed, restored, forgiven
I simply want to tell everything
To describe a love you have given

You pick me up time and again
When I fall stumbling in the rain
Praise to God from whom all blessings flow
Won my heart with a love that looks beyond my flaw

I’ve got to say you are matchless in love
And that with every good and perfect gift above
You still would care to know my name
And send your son to shoulder my shame

Since the day your love came like a flood
To the stop of me this song I raise
Such a blessing to be washed in the blood
My heart of hearts resounds in praise
